Have you ever noticed how as soon as you say the word “wedding” the price of a product or service magically increases? By A LOT.

“I’m a wedding photographer…”

“I’m a wedding entertainer…”

“It’s a wedding gown…”

Sure, sometimes it’s worth it to pay more for a wedding specialist…IF it’s a top priority piece of your wedding. A wedding expert has the experience, the know-how, and (hopefully) the talent to give you the best.

But why pay 30-300% MORE for the exact same product or service just because it has the magical word “wedding” attached to it?

I got a good laugh out of this video. But that’s because, sadly, it’s TRUE. Don’t be suckered in like this bride who throws a tantrum over the special “wedding” cake.

Just because it’s stamped with the word “wedding” doesn’t make it better. And if you buy something “non-wedding” for your wedding day, it doesn’t make you any less of a bride.

Beware! The wedding industry will push you into overpaying for specialized “wedding” products and services…if you let them.

Be creative, seek out “non-wedding” options, and find those savings!
